Jett is actually a licensed pilot. He recently turned down a job offer from a major airline so he can continue to pursue modeling. But he does work part-time as a flight instructor and he’s often seen in the skies flying chartered planes.

Jett competed for several years as a light heavyweight boxer. He still continues to box as part of his fitness regimen. To keep his body in shape, he also spends a lot of time in the gym pumping weights (“Repetitions are what get you cut,” he says) and he loves mountain biking.

“I always want to better myself. I turn on my Walkman, put up my hood and get in my own zone… like Rocky!”

Matthew died in January of this year from complications from a serious sinus infection. He had been battling cancer for some time now and this had weakened his immune system badly.
