  1. The video sucked. The song is mediocre. The only people who like the video are gays who will follow their new queen blindly.

  2. Well I don't really like the video but I LOVE the song. I just wish she had done it justice with something a little warmer, sunnier, or beachy. I don't think everything she does has to be "high art" – it's ok to just have a normal-length music video too.

  3. WHOA WHOA WHOA Harsh criticism. Why can't a person's art just be art. Sometimes it's to express what is inside and not just to please people. Either way, like the delivery or not, that I can consider up for debate but what I cannot tolerate is not liking the message. I personally think that it is a tribute to male beauty because it trounces over gender. Just something as simple as throwing men and pumps and fishnets is so simple but speaks volumes because it doesn't exactly look out of place in the environment created and so much of their "masculinity" is still maintained. That to me is important to see because I don't think our world should be so cookie cutter or black and white. (well, frankly it isn't but some people do like to pretend as though it is.)

  4. the song is a sample from the song the sign by ace of base and the video is like vogue video in spots. also lady gaga needs to put clothes on her ugly assed boney body. the guys are hot though. def no madonna but trying real hard to be. madonna did all this already only madonna usually had clothes on and is much prettier. Lady gaga is no beauty or even pretty.

    • I’m assuming you all are very young and petelcrfy formed human beings! I actually challenge you all to research what the average body of a 53 year old looks like. Then rethink your views on how Madonna looks and do try to remember: When you judge another, you do not define them, you define yourself.

  5. madonna posed with men in fishnets and pumps back in 1991 on the cover of rolling stone magazine. Lady gaga needs to get some new material. she will not be around for long otherwise!

  6. Madonna points completely valid. I forgot about her. Not my generation though. I would have loved her if I was born back then. But people hated her too yeah?

  8. Madonna was a shock jock, c'mon people. She never had the vocal chords to really do it well, but she's made more money than I ever will. Doesn't make her a real artist.

  9. I'm not certain I quite warm to this one but I think Gaga does some quite interesting work. I'm very impressed by her choreographer, whoever that is – he has distinctive movements and style and you can see a certain way of moving carried forward in different videos.

  10. AMAZING VIDEO!!! it's haunting and memorable. i love the song too, but the video improves it. it's not a copy of madonna–it's a reference. there's a major difference there. madonna referenced a lot of famous women herself–mae west, joan crawford, marilyn monroe. why hold lady gaga to a different standard? she's an extremely talented artist. the whole video reads like a memory of dead memories and dead bodies writhing. I LOVE IT.

  11. EPIC

This video is so dark and haunting. Visually speaking, one of the best video of 2010 so far. And to the people who state that the religious thing has been done before, yes it has, but this actually has a powerfull message behind it. If you think she simply set off to shock people, you may not understand it at all. Beautifully framed piece of art this is. Props to Lady gaga and the genius that is Steven Klein.

  12. I like Gaga but this song is pure unadulterated sh*t. I don't like the video either, I really hate to see men in heels, stockings and acting prissy. The one good thing about this video would be the two seconds of Evandro Soldatti.
And yeah, Gaga's no Madonna. She's not going to be around 25 years.
