Andre Birleanu appears as one of the cast members and contestants in the VH1 competitive reality television series America’s Most Smartest Model. He hails originally from his hometown of Moscow, Russia, and is 24 years old. Birleanu is the son of two diplomats, and he grew up in Romania. He also claims that he’s fluent in five different languages. He was discovered by a modeling talent scout while he was fixing his bike on the street, and he has recently worked for Saks Fifth Avenue as well as Converse.

Initially, I thought VH1′s new reality show America’s Most Smartest Model would be a total piece of crap, and actually, yes, it mostly is! But it’s a highly watchable piece of crap, which is actually a winning formula in my book.

Nearly 200,000 copies of Dieux du Stade 2008 calendar have sold just in 2 weeks. That is same number like its predecessor which needed 1 year to do this! Plus, we are still waiting for official US release.. Impressive!

UPDATE: The date of the US release for the Dieux du Stade 2008 Calendar has been announced for October 30, 2007!

No wonder.. It´s a MUSTHAVE! The rugby team’s manager has asked for more to be printed ASAP.

Why are people buying the calendar like mad? Well, one factor is certainly the Rugby World Cup, taking in place in France right now. Rugby fans from all over the world are probably buying the French Rugby Players’ calendar as a nice souvenir from France. The other reason is the photographer’s talent: Steven Klein has managed to create a new style for the calendar, while keeping it erotic and how people say: “less homoerotic”?!

Sergio Parisse in TV Ad

Sports equipment brand Le Coq Sportif has enrolled hunky rugby players Frédéric Michalak from France and Sergio Parisse from Italy (and Argentina) to star in its ad campaigns.

A part of the campaign is made of short online videos that try too hard at being funny. The gist is that a sleezy sports agent tries to get our rugby players to do the worst, so that he can reap a bigger profit out of them.

For instance, in the video below, the agent corners Sergio Parisse in the showers and tries to convince him to shoot a “sex tape video à la Paris Hilton”. The agent tells Sergio:

” C’mon, pull down your briefs, it ‘ll only take 5 minutes”.
